A little preparation makes a big difference. Use this simple room-by-room guide before your LuxeAngle photography appointment so we can spend shoot time creating the strongest possible images.

You do not need to make the home perfect. Focus first on clutter, surfaces, lighting, personal items and anything that distracts from the property itself.

Keep this first section short enough for sellers to scan on a phone before the appointment.

Lights On

Turn on interior lights and lamps. Replace burned-out bulbs if possible.

Fans Off

Turn off ceiling fans so blades stay sharp in photos.

Clear Surfaces

Remove everyday clutter from counters, tables, sinks and vanities.

Open Blinds

Open and straighten blinds and curtains where appropriate.

    01 · THE ESSENTIALS
  
    Start with the whole home.
  
      Lights on, fans off:
      turn on all lights and lamps; turn off ceiling fans.
    
      Screens off:
      turn off TVs and computer monitors.
    
      Hide wires:
      tuck away visible chargers, cables and power strips.
    
      Blinds & curtains:
      open and straighten them where appropriate.

    02 · KITCHEN & DINING
  
    Keep counters clean and simple.
  
      De-clutter counters:
      remove small appliances, dish racks and excess decor.
    
      Fridge protocol:
      remove magnets, photos, calendars and papers.
    
      Clear the sink:
      remove dishes, soap bottles and drying racks.
    
      Trash out:
      hide garbage cans and recycling bins.

    04 · LIVING & BEDROOMS
  
    Make spaces feel calm and open.
  
      Depersonalize:
      remove family photos, trophies and highly personal items.
    
      Make the beds:
      straighten bedding, pillows and throws.
    
      Pet items:
      hide bowls, beds, toys and litter boxes.
    
      Clear the floor:
      remove loose toys, baskets and unnecessary small items.

    03 · BATHROOMS
  
    Remove personal-care clutter.
  
      Close toilet lids.
    
      Clear vanities:
      remove toothbrushes, toiletries, razors and cosmetics.
    
      Shower clean-up:
      hide shampoo, soap, bath mats and cleaning products.
    
      Fresh towels:
      neatly hang clean towels if you want them visible.

    05 · EXTERIOR & DRONE
  
    Let the property be the focus.
  
      Clear the driveway:
      move vehicles away from the front of the property.
    
      Curb appeal:
      hide trash cans, hoses, toys and loose yard items.
    
      Patio prep:
      straighten furniture, cushions and umbrellas.
    
      Temporary signs:
      remove portable yard or security signs when appropriate.
